The Role
The Running Account Manager will join our Running Specialist Team with a growing business, working with exciting industry-leading product to deliver market leading standards and ensure an enhanced customer experience.
Responsibilities
* Manage a targeted list of Running customers, maximising revenue from B2B and B2C channels by ensuring timely dispatch, OTIF, and managing day-to-day queries.
* Work with a northern UK account base.
* Grow the Running categories through new and existing customers, proactively developing existing and finding new business.
* Assist the Category Manager in forecasting and controlling inventory for Running categories and related products.
* Support Specialist Sports & retail partners' event/expo activities.
* Collaborate with brand coaches for product training and promotional activities, supporting retailers with technical content.
* Develop and manage the Running customer orderbook to ensure timely fulfillment.
* Maintain the Running database of wholesale & B2B customers, ensuring accurate contacts and engagement.
* Create multimedia sell-in tools for the Running categories and update the company's website with accurate product info and marketing materials.
* Handle general sales inquiries via all media and work with the fulfillment team to ensure prompt order delivery.
* Perform other duties as delegated by the Category Manager or Sales and Marketing Director.
The ideal candidate should have relevant trade experience and qualifications, an enthusiastic professional approach, and a personal interest in sports, especially running. The role is primarily field-based with frequent travel to our Southampton office. We offer flexible working hours, with core hours defined, but hours may vary depending on role requirements. The candidate should effectively identify customer needs and develop communication strategies to support customer success using our products.
