At Stagecoach Manchester, we operate recognizable and reliable bus services across Manchester, and we’re looking for people with the right attitude and willingness to learn to join our growing team at this exciting time. We are seeking a depot shunter/cleaner to fuel, clean, park buses, and perform other maintenance tasks within the depot.
The Role:
1. You’ll be a key member of our team maintaining and repairing our fleet of Alexander-Dennis, Volvo, and Optare models.
2. Fueling, washing, and safely parking our fleet.
3. Accurately completing reports on coolant, oil, and fuel issues.
4. Flexibility to provide relief cover for backshift shunters in other Aberdeenshire depots as needed.
5. Full compliance with Stagecoach group health and safety procedures.
Hours of work will be 38 hours per week, on a 5 over 7 backshift pattern, 6 pm-2 am, with overtime opportunities. The successful candidate will need a positive attitude and flexibility to meet the business needs.

1. Flexible to the requirements of the business, committed, and possess a positive work ethic.
2. Willing to take pride in your role and be satisfied with a good day’s work.
3. Full car license.
4. PSV license desirable; upon satisfactory completion of a probationary period, the candidate will be considered for a PSV license by the company.
