Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking flexible and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work on a supply basis across secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, support students with additional needs, or maintain flexibility in their working week. Whether you\'re available full-time or just a few days per week, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils, including those with SEND
* Assisting the class teacher in managing behaviour and promoting engagement
* Supporting students across a range of subjects and ability levels
* Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
* Following school policies and contributing to the wider school community
Qualifications & Attributes
* Have experience working with young people in an educational or care setting
* Be patient, reliable, and able to use their initiative
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Be confident working with students with a variety of needs
* Have (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS check and complete safeguarding checks
