Exciting hybrid or fully home‑working opportunity available for a Team Manager / Head of Department to join and lead a specialist team of Residential Landlord & Tenant lawyers.
Responsibilities
* Oversee a specialist team of Residential Landlord & Tenant lawyers.
* Act for and provide complex advice to Landlord/RMC/RTM clients and professional managing agents on residential property management disputes, breaches of lease covenants, possession and forfeiture claims, leasehold disrepair, trespass claims and tenancy disputes.
* Manage all aspects of long leasehold enforcement work, including leasehold block and estate management, and ensure compliance with all legislative and contractual requirements.
* Run cases within all levels of the Court and Tribunal – Property Chamber.
* Service the firm’s established clients full time (Monday to Friday 9am–5pm).
* Maintain regular contact with the team by phone, video calls and virtual meetings, ensuring a collaborative remote working environment.
Qualifications
* Qualified Solicitor or CILEX/FILEX.
* Strong experience in L&T work acting for landlords, ideally from a recognised practice, Top 500 or city law firm.
* Experience with long leasehold enforcement work and handling leasehold block and estate management.
* IT literate with experience using case management systems.
* Natural leadership skills and ability to manage a specialist legal team.
