Senior Manager – Deal Advisory Tax | UK | Hybrid
£75-£100k + Bens + Bonus
I’m supporting a market-leading advisory firm as they continue to invest in their transaction tax leadership team. This is a Senior Manager hire for someone who wants real ownership — of deals, clients, and people.
This role is ideal for a transaction-focused tax professional who enjoys being close to decision-making and is ready to operate as a trusted adviser to investors and corporates.
Why this role?
You’ll be working on complex, high-value transactions across the UK and internationally, advising both:
* Corporate groups navigating acquisitions, disposals and restructures
* Financial investors including private equity, infrastructure, energy transition and real assets
Deal sizes range from mid-market through to multi-billion-pound, with exposure across multiple sectors and investment strategies.
What you’ll own
* Leading tax workstreams on live transactions from day one
* Shaping deal strategy and structuring alongside senior stakeholders
* Acting as the main point of contact for clients and advisers
* Reviewing and signing off high-level technical output
* Coaching, developing and performance-managing team members
* Supporting business development, proposals and client pitches
* Contributing to the wider growth and direction of the practice
This is a role with visibility and influence, not just delivery.
What they’re looking for
* CTA / ACA / CA (or equivalent)
* Strong UK corporate tax background with significant transaction experience
* Confident advising at senior client level
* Commercial mindset with the ability to balance risk and value
* Proven experience leading teams and managing multiple deal processes
