The Role
As an EC&I Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll provide support to EDF and have responsibility for the development and implementation of fuel route works. Day-to-day, you’ll provide technical fault finding and reporting, work pack specification, and oversight of maintenance activities.
1. Use the Management of Operations and Management of Maintenance as the basis for daily working practices.
2. Apply high standards for Fuel Route work preparation and execution.
3. Support the Investment Delivery Process gated approach to asset management.
4. Assist in preparing and executing Fuel Route work, following Fuel Route Department safety policies.
5. Ensure that all activities are undertaken with full regard to site licence requirements and statutory regulations.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Hartlepool Power Station in County Durham.
Experience required of the EC&I Engineer:
6. Electrical engineering background
7. Technical fault finding
8. Safe systems of work.
Qualifications for the EC&I Engineer:
9. Engineering degree preferred in relevant discipline.
