Are you enthusiastic, curious, and ready to learn? \n\nWest Fraser Europe Ltd, Cowie, is offering exciting apprenticeship opportunities for individuals who want to build a career in manufacturing and production.\n\nAs a Process Manufacturing Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in our production operations, learning every element of the process from start to finish.\n\nYou will be supported by experienced mentors and a structured learning programme designed to help you grow your skills and confidence in operating and monitoring machinery used in the production of wood-based panel products such as MDF and Particleboard. \n\nThe role will be on a shift pattern, we require applicants to be 18 for Health and Safety requirements of shift working. - Industry-recognised qualifications in Process Manufacturing\n- Practice skills in industrial operations and safety\n- Understanding of sustainable wood product manufacturing\n- Pathways to permanent roles in operations or technical support - A positive attitude and willingness to learn\n- Strong work ethic and good communication skills\n- A keen interest in manufacturing\n- Good attention to detail and proactive attitude\n- National 5 (Grade C or above) in English, Maths and one Science or Technical subject, or equivalent
