Responsibilities
* Lead and manage projects centred on coastal ecosystem management, shoreline resilience, and climate adaptation.
* Provide technical leadership and project management of deliverables, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
* Mentor junior team members and support business development and bidding activities.
* Guide multidisciplinary teams through data-driven decision‑making and ecological restoration initiatives.
* Represent the team in policy discussions and planning efforts, informing clients and stakeholders.
Candidate Specification
* Master’s degree or PhD in Coastal Science, Marine Biology, Oceanography, Environmental Science or a related field.
* Demonstrable professional experience in coastal research, management or consulting.
* Proficiency in GIS, remote sensing and coastal modelling tools (e.g., Delft3D, SWAN, ADCIRC) is advantageous.
* Evidence of leadership in complex, interdisciplinary projects.
* Ideally chartered with a relevant professional body.
* Familiarity with climate adaptation planning and policy.
