If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you to join one of our partner primary schools as a Year 5 Behaviour Mentor in Lambeth We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our school community and work closely with our Year 5 students to support their behavioural development and academic progress. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and small group mentoring to Year 5 students to promote positive behaviour and social-emotional development. Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions to support students in overcoming challenges and reaching their full potential. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to develop individualised behaviour plans tailored to the needs of each student. Act as a positive role model and mentor, inspiring students to make positive choices and achieve their goals. Monitor student progress and behaviour, providing regular feedback and support to both students and teachers. Requirements: Previous experience working with children, particularly in a mentoring or behaviour support role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse behavioural needs. Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, with a proactive and solution-focused mindset. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students and respond to changing circumstances.
