The role: The Project Accountant will have responsibility for providing finance support within the wider finance team as needed, focusing on financial projects and implementation of systems. Ensuring all deadlines are met and submissions made in line with contractual and internal obligations. This role will be based in Colchester on a hybrid basis.
Key Responsibilities:
To support in care home acquisitions and onboarding, to ensure all finance needs are met during transitional periods.
Ensure all submissions are made on time and accurately.
To support third party / remote finance teams to help them come to a CUK way of working which may require working at differing levels depending on the need.
Assist in gathering accurate KPI information from new homes.
Assist in the establishment of Authority Matrixes and compliance with these within acquired homes.
To offer wider finance support as needed either in the form of project work or assisting with backfill of others whilst they undertake project work as and when the need arises.
Support on systems implementation.
What We're Looking For:
Financial and management accounting in a corporate environment in a multi-site commercial business
The ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance professionals
Ability to demonstrate planning skills to manage time effectively and to meet objectives and deadlines
