Job Title: Production Operator (Shot Blaster)
Location: Stanley
Hourly Rate: £12.80 per hour
Shifts: Day Shift / Night Shift – 2-week rotation (30% shift allowance for nights)

Job Description:

As a Production Operator (Shot Blaster), you’ll play a key role in preparing components for finishing by operating shot blasting equipment and following engineering drawings. You’ll ensure parts meet customer specifications through careful masking, bunging, and pre-paint preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate shot blasting equipment to prepare metal parts

* Apply masking/bunging based on drawing requirements

* Carry out pre-paint operations to quality standards

* Use Epicor system for job tracking and data entry

* Sign off job cards for completed work

* Work from production board to structure daily tasks

* Maintain safe, clean, and organised work area

Skills & Experience:

* Experience in a production or engineering role is advantageous

* Ability to read and understand technical drawings

* Basic computer skills – Epicor experience is a plus

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

* Team player who can also work independently

* FLT licence desirable – in-house training available

* Good timekeeping, attendance, and safety awareness
