Operations Manager - Water Recycling
Circa £55,000 depending on skills and experience and car allowance
Permanent
Full time - 37 hours a week
Location: Northampton & surrounding area

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to lead our Water Recycling team. You will oversee daily operations, manage resources efficiently, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote sustainability.

Candidate requirements:
* Extensive experience in Water Recycling or related leadership role, or degree-qualified with leadership capability
* Excellent communication skills
* Customer service experience
* Resilience and prioritization skills in high-pressure situations
* Health and Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH) or understanding of H&S legislation
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
* Desirable: knowledge of Water Recycling technology, financial management experience, full UK driving license
Key responsibilities:
* Ensure environmental and regulatory compliance
* Manage resources and operational processes
* Foster collaboration across catchment areas
* Develop team through coaching and training
* Manage operational incidents and asset maintenance
* Build relationships with regulators and stakeholders
* Identify investment needs and develop business cases
* Ensure health, safety, and welfare of staff
* Manage costs effectively
