Overview
Swiis Training are offering an exciting opportunity for independent trainers to join the Swiis Training Team. Our current in-house training team provides high-quality training to our foster carers, both virtually and face to face. Our training courses are recognised as exceptional, have been designed in-house, are updated annually and are CPD accredited. As part of the independent training team, you will provide experience-related training to our foster carers. In addition, you will be expected to support our newly developed external training programme, providing training to external stakeholders who work within, or are affiliated to children's services. Swiis Foster Care is a national leading Independent Fostering Agency with consistently Outstanding Ofsted inspections due in part to the high-quality service provided to our foster carers and children and young people in our care. Swiis Foster Care is a family-owned independent fostering provider which has been operating for over twenty years.
Responsibilities
* Deliver training across a range of topics including therapeutic parenting, attachment, child development, child sexual exploitation, safeguarding, mental health awareness, self-harm, equality and diversity.
* Utilise the training programmes designed by Swiis and receive full guidance and training on delivery.
* Deliver training via webinar and in a classroom environment; maintain a reliable internet connection and travel as required.
* Maintain flexibility and ongoing availability, including term time, occasional school holidays sessions and Saturdays.
* Present a warm, personable and friendly persona and adapt training approaches to suit a variety of professionals.
Benefits / Remuneration
* Competitive daily training rate of £200 plus £35 per hour for administrative tasks such as course updates.
* Mileage expenses covered for face-to-face training.
* Full administrative and technical support from a dedicated training team.
* Full training provided on in-house training presentations.
Requirements
* Minimum of two years training delivery experience.
* Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent.
* Knowledge of childcare and fostering legislation.
* Willingness to work on a flexible and ongoing basis; ability to travel and work in the UK without visa restrictions.
* Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service Check (DBS) and willingness to join the update service (we can provide a DBS check if you do not have one).
* Experience of webinar training delivery is preferable.
* Weekly or bi-weekly availability.
