Job responsibilities
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will:
* Plan and implement the kind of care that gives residents security, dignity and independence.
* Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care.
* Be a positive influence on the rest of the care team.
* Assist residents with daily activities, including activities of living such as helping with meals and mobility aids.
* Support residents and their families, delivering truly personalised care plans.
* Work with the Registered Nurse and Care Manager to provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
* Administer medication and maintain accurate records; build strong relationships with the team.
* Work full-time, with day or night shift options.
* Maintain records of the work performed and demonstrate effective time management.

Qualifications and experience
Essential
* SNVQ or Diploma Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
Desirable
