Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sponsorship Sales Manager to lead the sponsorship revenue efforts for a portfolio of high-impact events. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional passionate about building relationships and delivering innovative sponsorship solutions. You will play a pivotal role in connecting leading tech companies with exclusive summits and thought leadership platforms, enabling them to elevate their brand and engage with key industry players.
Key Responsibilities
* As the Sponsorship Sales Manager you'll be responsible for driving sponsorship revenue across our portfolio of high-impact events.
* Strategic Sales: Develop and implement sponsorship sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets while fostering long-term partnerships.
* Market Research: Identify and qualify prospective sponsors, leveraging industry insights to target decision-makers within the technology and cybersecurity sectors.
* Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential sponsors, acting as a trusted advisor to help them achieve their goals and maximize ROI.
* Sales Presentations: Create and deliver tailored sponsorship proposals that align with each prospect’s objectives, showcasing the value and exclusivity of partnering with our events.
* Negotiation & Closing: Confidently negotiate sponsorship agreements and close deals that drive mutual success for the sponsors and the events.
* Collaboration: Partner with marketing and production teams to align sponsorship offerings with event content, ensuring premium exposure for sponsors to their target audience.
* Pipeline Management: Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline using CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and key metrics, ensuring transparency and efficiency in reporting
Requirements
* 2+ years of experience in sponsorship or B2B sales preferably within the technology or events industries.
* A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
* Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage with senior decision-makers.
* A deep understanding of the B2B technology and cybersecurity landscape (a plus).
* The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with a self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
