We're working with a well-established manufacturing business in East Yorkshire who are looking to strengthen their Engineering team with a hands-on, proactive engineer who can support day-to-day operations and drive performance across site. The Role You'll play a key part in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and supporting continuous improvement across the plant. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment Diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs Supporting improvements to maximise plant performance and reliability Maintaining high standards of hygiene, health & safety, and compliance Working closely with production teams and external contractors Completing maintenance records and ensuring clear shift handovers What We're Looking For Time-served engineer with strong electrical bias Experience with PLCs, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and steam systems 18th Edition desirable (not essential) Previous experience within an FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment (preferred) Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability Able to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment Why Apply?
