We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Vice Principal with responsibility for the Quality of Education to start in January 2026.
This is a full time key strategic role where you will champion curriculum ambition and inclusivity at Rainhill High School. You will be accountable for teaching, learning and outcomes, ensuring every pupil – regardless of background – achieves their full potential.
As Vice Principal, you will:
* Be accountable for the quality, ambition and inclusivity of the curriculum across KS3–5, ensuring all students can succeed.
* Lead the development of high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, rooted in research and best practice.
* Oversee Quality Assurance systems that drive continuous improvement in standards and outcomes.
* Ensure that progress and attainment are strong for all learners, including disadvantaged students and those with SEND.
* Lead on literacy, numeracy and reading, ensuring every student has the skills needed to access the full curriculum.
* Manage the delivery of external examinations (11–19) and ensure pathways and transition arrangements prepare students for their next stage.
* Deputise for the Principal when required, contributing fully to the leadership and strategic direction of the school and Trust.
