Job Title: Apprentice Trainee Civil Engineer

Onsite is part of the South Staffordshire Group – a 3,000-strong organisation behind South Staffs Water, Cambridge Water, and several leading utility support businesses – offering long-term development and career progression.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineering Degree Apprentice to be supported through the Onsite apprentice programme. Whilst working for Onsite you will gain a level 6-degree qualification and experience throughout the business. With planned rotation across Onsite you will be working towards becoming an Incorporated Engineer. With this role you will be expected to successfully complete an End Point Assessment and professional review with the Institution of Civil Engineers. At the end of your 5-year apprenticeship, you will gain the use of the I Eng post nominals.
The Role
As an apprentice you will undertake a planned series of rotations across civil engineering-related teams, ensuring a broad exposure to the full project lifecycle from design and planning through to construction, site operations, safety, and asset management.

What You’ll Need
We are looking for an employee who is passionate about the construction, design, compliance and health and safety of the water sector, and other civil engineering projects. You will be committed to completing a Civil Engineer Degree apprenticeship and continuing your personal development.
Must be aged 18 and above.
Eligible to drive in the UK: Full driving licence (you will be required to drive for your role).
Current or predicted 3x A-Levels/Level 3 at AAB / DDM or above
Desirable: at least 1 A-Level/Level 3 in a Science or construction-related qualification
5 GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above, including Maths and English
Or Industry experience.
