The Role
The school is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Head of Chemistry who can provide strong subject leadership while delivering engaging and academically rigorous lessons.
Responsibilities of the Head of Chemistry include:
* Leading the development of Chemistry across KS3–KS5
* Teaching Chemistry to GCSE and A-Level students
* Driving curriculum development, assessment, and departmental strategy
* Supporting and mentoring colleagues within the Science department
* Monitoring student progress and implementing strategies to raise attainment
* Contributing to enrichment activities such as STEM clubs, competitions, and trips
