Purpose of the Role
To maintain electrical systems and components for various applications across the site, ensure our Electrical control panels and systems are working efficient and reliable for our site Production operations team, Also adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. To deliver electrical system projects for Site Continuous Improvement, taking into account the specific requirements, standards, and regulations. This includes working with approved suppliers for system layouts, upgrading circuit diagrams, and selecting appropriate components also control panel upgrades.
2. To provide effective electrical support to Shift Engineering staff and breakdown cover to the production department.
3. To fault find and repair any electrical faults that require your electrical and PLC expertise.
4. To evaluate and recommend machine modifications and component upgrades to work with approved suppliers to provide Control panels to UK legislation.
5. To ensure that all equipment operates efficiently producing product according to the specification.
