Role outline:
The is required to work on an upgrade programme of works within a nuclear licenced site and will report to the Associate Director, Digital Consultancy.
To own, plan, manage and deliver digital initiatives associated with the programme of works with varying values to support a wider client infrastructure programme.
The candidate will need to be proactive and able to work in a matrix team structure within a business that has multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
Due to the strict security requirements, candidates must be a UK National and will need to progress through and acquire security clearance.
Responsibilities:
·To be fully accountable for the successful delivery of digital initiatives assigned.
·To adhere to formal project management methodologies to successfully deliver digital initiatives, including but not limited to:
oProject scope and definition
oStakeholder definition and management
oProject requirements, outcomes, benefits, and critical success factors
oBudget and cost tracking and management
oSchedule and milestone management
oDeliverables management
oConfiguration and change management
oReporting and management
oEscalation, issue, and risk management
oSupplier management
oTeam management
oManage testing, acceptance and training where required
oDigital/IT/infrastructure support management where required
·Work as a team member and support the overall team effort.
·To undertake ad hoc tasks to support the general successful delivery of the client commission.
·Liaise with parent company IT departments, partner company IT functions; and other stakeholder IT functions; client and supply chain partners.
·License management and liaise with central and/or supplier(s) license management.
·Establish and chair focus/users/steering groups within client projects – where there may be more than one owner for the systems and solutions.
Skills:
·Proven ability of technical problem solving and ability to interpret and contribute to technically focussed discussions involving digital systems and services.
·Thorough understanding of the principles of project management lifecycle planning and management.
·Effective communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
·Integrate, network and influence cross functionally within the clients existing organisational structure.

Qualifications & experience:
·Qualified to a degree level or equivalent.
·Membership of appropriate professional body such as the Association of Project Management would be desirable.
·Experienced in the delivery of IT systems and services, specificallyMS-365 and SaaS infrastructure applications.
·Experience of working in a fast-paced project environment essential.
Experience of working in nuclear or other highly regulated sectors is desirable.
