As a Mechanical (HVAC) Design Engineer, you'll be joining a supportive team of 40 M&E Design Engineers. You'll report to a Director who has been with them for 15 consecutive years, an individual who is as technically strong as they are commercially aware; a great model for you. What you'll do Lead the HVAC / mechanical systems design on commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects. Collaborate with architects, electrical, structural, and MEP teams to deliver technically sound, efficient solutions. Support project delivery from concept through detailed design and coordination. Mentor junior engineers and help shape the future technical direction of the mechanical team.Requirements At least five years of experience in Mechanical / HVAC design experience in building services. Strong technical skills in HVAC and an awareness of NZC and decarbonisation. Good communication skills, able to work in a team. Plenty of ambition, desire to grow not just as an engineer, but as a future leader or partner
