Join Our Team as a Kids Club Activity Leader
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Kids Club Activity Leader to join the team within the Breakfast Club at Gorsey Bank Primary School. You will play a vital role in providing safe, fun, and educational experiences for primary school children.
This position offers a rewarding opportunity to create a high-quality, child-focused play environment. The role is based in our Kids Club, which provides a safe and happy ‘home from home’ environment.
We are seeking an individual who is available to work during our Breakfast Club hours (7:30-8:45am). This position is contracted for 14 hours per week, term-time only. You will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during school holidays unless required by the contract. In total, you will work a minimum of 38 weeks per year.
Job Purpose
* Supervise children, organize and prepare appropriate play-based activities, and ensure the environment is left clean and tidy at the end of each session.
* Provide a high-quality, child-centred play setting that meets the needs of all children and their families, including those with additional needs.
Key Skills & Experience
* Ability to support play activities that children enjoy.
* Experience of working with children aged 4–11 years is advantageous.
* Excellent planning and organizational skills.
