About the Role / Role Overview As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the care, learning and development of children aged 0–5. You will be instrumental in creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to thrive. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, child-led care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework. Support children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development through play and structured activities. Observe, plan and assess children's progress, keeping accurate and up-to-date records. Collaborate with colleagues to create a warm, engaging, and responsive early years environment. Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and safeguarding at all times. Build strong, respectful relationships with parents and carers, offering feedback and developmental insights. Job Requirements: A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) is essential. Sound knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and its practical application. Previous experience working in a nursery, pre-school, or early years classroom setting is desirable. A nurturing and empathetic personality, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
