Overview
Site Agent – Weston Super Mare, Civil Engineering. We are recruiting for an interesting new project starting in January 2026. This is a £20m technically challenging civil engineering scheme with works taking place in a marine environment and from a jack up barge. Our client has positions for a Senior Engineer/Sub Agent and a Site Agent.
Responsibilities
* Support the Project Manager with preparation of RAMs (risk assessments and method statements), H&S files, and Emergency plans.
* Engage with subcontractors and coordinate programme activity and resource allocation.
* Assist with site logistics and day-to-day site operations on a restoration and refurbishment project of existing cast iron structures (Grade 2 listed).
* Work in close collaboration with the Project Manager to ensure compliance and delivery within a marine environment.
* Assist with pre-site paperwork and administrative tasks to enable project start.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience as a Site Agent or Senior Engineer/Sub Agent on civil engineering schemes, preferably in marine environments.
* Familiarity with RAMs, H&S documentation, emergency planning, subcontractor engagement, and programme support.
* Ability to coordinate resources and logistics effectively on a circa 65-week contract.
* Comfort with working on a project in a marine environment from a jack up barge.
Contract details
The contract duration is circa 65 weeks and will be paid on a CIS sole trader or PAYE basis. Starts are available immediately to assist with pre-site paperwork.
