Secondary Supply Teachers
We are recruiting talented secondary teachers for supply roles in and around St Austell. Qualified teacher status is required. We offer roles for emergency daily supply and longer-term absences to fit your availability.
Teacher Responsibilities
* Create and deliver engaging lessons to diverse student groups at all levels.
* Promote enthusiasm for learning and subjects.
* Adhere to national curriculum standards and maintain classroom order.
* Record and report student performance accurately.
Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Experience teaching across primary phase
* Proven classroom teaching experience
* Experience setting targets, monitoring, and assessing pupil progress
* Ability to work well within a team
* Understanding of SEND and support strategies
Key Responsibilities
* Set and evaluate individual termly targets and maintain achievement records.
* Provide reports and assessments in line with school policy.
* Communicate effectively with parents/carers about pupil progress and welfare.
* Ensure safeguarding in accordance with policies, reporting concerns appropriately.
