An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the finance team at East Cheshire Trust for an income analyst. This is a role for someone with finance experience.
Hours per week: 30 hybrid working, 2 days a week based at Macclesfield Hospital and 2 days home working.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will assist the Band 6 and the Planning and income accountant, in financial planning and reporting of the Trusts financial income position and also providing support with contracting and commissioning.
They will assist in maintaining, monitoring, and helping report income as required both internally and externally and present information to non-finance colleagues in an accessible form.
To monitor the Trust's Non-Contract Activity (NCA) and overseas income and to support in invoicing process.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* 5 GCSE's or equivalent
* Accounting Technicians) member or equivalent experience or Honours Degree level
Knowledge and Skills
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications, NHS information systems, data collection, research and analysis.
* Understanding of the contracting regime, and commissioner contract payment process
* Developed interpersonal, communication (written and oral) persuasive and facilitation skills.
* Previous experience of working within a financial environment
Experience
* Developed organisational skills - ability to plan and organise a broad range of complex activities and progressing multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines
* Familiar with working in a multidisciplinary environment/ teams
£32,073 to £39,043 a year pro rata (subject to job matching)
