Remuneration: $128,169 - $137,918 per annum
The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Psychologist - Senior (Child and Youth Mental Health Services) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH), where our 12,000-strong team focuses on providing world-class healthcare to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
* Provide comprehensive mental health clinical psychology services to Children and Youth Mental Health Services clients.
* Manage a highly complex caseload with minimal direct clinical practice supervision.
* Apply advanced professional judgement to complex cases.
* Use available clinical evidence to inform and improve clinical practice, modifying intervention strategies as required.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will require:
* A tertiary degree in Psychology.
* AHPRA Registration.
* Evidence of vaccination, or ability to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B.
* Tuberculosis screening to determine if tuberculosis vaccination may be required.
* Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.
* Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover the cost).

The CYMHS Continuing Care Team (CCT) is a multidisciplinary, multi-specialty team within the Gold Coast Child and Youth Mental Health Services, operating across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service to provide multi-specialty mental health interventions to children and young people (0-18 years).
