DOCUMENT CONTROLLER - TEMP TO PERM, LEEDS BASED - LS11 Our client is a reputable construction company with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled Document Controller to join our team. Role Summary : The Document Controller will play a crucial role in managing all aspects related to document control within our construction projects. You’ll be responsible for coordinating technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence. This position initially starts in Leeds and will later transition to a site in York early next year, ideally. Key Responsibilities: Input document data into standard registers, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information. Distribute controlled copies of approved documents and drawings to relevant staff, subcontractors, and suppliers. Maintain documents and drawings securely in the document control office. Issue and receive controlled documentation, log transactions, and create electronic transmittals. Assist with quality checks and audits of document databases. Handle routine administrative tasks related to document management. Requirements: Previous experience in Document Control. Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and electronic document management systems. Strong record-keeping skills. Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
