These targets are an important part of the role and are approached in a supportive, positive way, helping to enhance the visitor journey while maximising income. You’ll also have the opportunity to earn commission on every guidebook sold. You’ll play a key role in welcoming our visitors onsite, from greeting them at ticketing and supporting in the shop, to working in the café and across the wider galleries - no two days are the same. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this varied and rewarding role is vital in generating the income that allows the Museum to fulfil its charitable objectives and continue preserving and sharing the story of Naval Aviation. What you can bring: Experience in a customer-facing role; with retail or sales experience highly desirable. A natural ability to spot sales opportunities, combined with the motivation, resilience, and confidence to meet and exceed targets. Strong communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of engaging with people, handling objections, and closing sales in a friendly and professional way. Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Security requirements, with a willingness to learn and develop further. A positive, proactive attitude with pride in delivering outstanding service every day.
