A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to join a reputable and growing provider of Ofsted-regulated children's residential care. This role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Autism and additional needs in a warm, structured and therapeutic environment. The home consists of two adjacent 2-bed bungalows and one 4-bed residential facility, providing personalised, high-quality care in line with Ofsted standards. The Role As Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the home, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and delivering exceptional outcomes for the young people in your care. You will lead and inspire a team of care professionals, embed a strong safeguarding culture, and work collaboratively with families, professionals, and external agencies to promote the physical, emotional and social well-being of every child. Key Responsibilities * Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding regulations * Lead, manage and develop a motivated and skilled care team * Oversee staff rotas, recruitment and training * Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the home * Create and monitor tailored care and support plans for each young person * Build and maintain relationships with families and external professionals * Ensure the home environment is safe, welcoming and well-maintained * Manage service budgets and ensure efficient resource use * Complete audits and reports to maintain care quality * Maintain accurate records via the Nourish care management system Requirements * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Residential Childcare or equivalent) – Essential * Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential setting * Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and Ofsted standards * Experience working with children/young people with Autism * Excellent leadership, communication and team-building skills * A compassionate, resilient and child-centred approach * Willingness to be part of the on-call rota What’s On Offer * Competitive salary based on experience * Supportive leadership and ongoing professional development * The opportunity to join a passionate team making a difference every day * A stable, well-established care provider committed to best practice and high standards Interested?
