Based at our Oxford centre, you’ll work at the intersection of clinical innovation, automation, and research within the UK’s busiest and most advanced SABR service. You’ll turn complex technical and clinical data into actionable insights to drive quality, safety, and innovation across MR-guided and complex SABR programmes. Your work will power outcome reporting, audit excellence, and service development – ensuring we remain at the forefront of advanced radiotherapy. You’ll develop automated data pipelines and adaptive QA dashboards, lead statistical analysis, and contribute to peer‑reviewed publications, with dedicated time for innovation embedded in real‑world workflows.
Responsibilities
* Build automated pipelines and dashboards to capture, analyse, and visualise SABR and MR-Linac data.
* Lead statistical analysis of treatment data, contributing to outcome registries and high-impact publications.
* Integrate analytics into clinical decision-making, enhancing safety, governance, and consistency.
* Collaborate across radiographers, physicists, clinicians, and service leads to embed automation and analytics into everyday practice.
* Mentor colleagues in the use of analytics tools and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist (Medical Physics – Radiotherapy).
* Substantial post-registration radiotherapy physics experience, ideally in SABR or adaptive workflows.
* Proven expertise in radiotherapy data analysis, dashboard development, and visualisation tools.
* Advanced programming skills with experience in automation and statistical analysis.
* Ability to integrate data from multiple clinical systems and deliver reproducible, scalable solutions.
* Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, with a track record in publications or service development.
