Whether you’re from a truck, HGV, automotive, plant, or rail background, this is your chance to work on a modern and varied fleet, including hybrid and electric vehicles, while helping to train the next generation of engineers.What you’ll be doing:· Maintaining and repairing our fleet of buses to DVSA and Stagecoach safety standards· Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults· Carrying out routine inspections, servicing, and occasional roadside repairs· Supporting apprentices by sharing your knowledge and experience· Working safely and efficiently as part of a collaborative depot teamWhat we’re looking for:· NVQ Level 3 in HGV or PSV Maintenance (or equivalent)· Hands-on experience working on commercial or specialist vehicles· A safety-first attitude and strong attention to detail· A team player with good communication skills· Previous experience working on buses or large passenger vehicles (desirable)· Full training provided, including health & safety, equipment use and cleaning standards· Competitive hourly rates and opportunities for overtime· Benefits including generous pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, free travel for you and a companion, and a wide range of discounts including retail & leisure· Career progression, many of our colleagues have grown into management and director roles· A supportive, inclusive working environment where your wellbeing mattersOur working environmentStagecoach is proud to be an inclusive employer where everyone is respected and supported.
