Neighbourhood Officer\n\nSalary - £33,233 - 37 hours\n\nTemporary Position\n\nLocation - Liverpool\n\nAs a Neighbourhood Officer, you will play a vital role in providing a broad range of housing management services, focusing on all aspects of the tenant and landlord relationship.\n\nYou will be responsible for managing your designated area of housing stock, ensuring effective tenancy management. Acting as a representative, you will build strong relationships with other teams, external agencies, and residents to maintain clean, safe, and well-managed neighbourhoods. Your duties will include delivering estate inspections, identifying areas for improvement, and addressing any tenancy breaches.\n\nYou will also be accountable for meeting key performance targets and ensuring the delivery of services aligned with corporate objectives.\n\nManage property and tenancy matters, providing advice on tenancy and estate management.\nAddress issues such as abandoned properties, tenancy fraud, and access failures.\nConduct visits including viewings, audits, inspections, and evictions.\nMonitor neighbourhood data and allocate resources to high-risk areas.\nEnsure legal, regulatory, and insurance compliance for your portfolio.\nManage a case load to promote tenancy sustainment and independent living.\nEnsure compliance with tenancy conditions and take appropriate action for breaches.\nManage ASB cases and escalate when necessary, following company standards.\nProactively address neighbourhood issues that affect demand or costs.\nContribute to neighbourhood improvements and consultations for vibrant areas.\nCollaborate with Tenancy Sustainment and Income Teams to maximise results.Key requirements: \n\nExperience of managing housing stock or delivering a service to clients\nKnowledge of housing legislation and ability to research knowledge\nThe ability to negotiate with and influence partners and stakeholders to gain shared business aims\nAbility to manage professional relationships with tenants including challenging non-compliance and low to medium support needs.\nAbility to keep accurate up to date records and produce timely reports\nASB experince \nTo have a flexible approach to working hours including evenings and some weekends
