Janitor & Waste Operative

As a Janitor & Waste Operative with ISS UK, you will play a key part in delivering a world class housekeeping service, maintaining the highest quality and consistency for our customers and colleagues.
Our newly transformed Global Technology Centre is the hub of innovation for a high-profile client. Set within 65 acres of beautifully maintained grounds, the campus combines a state-of-the-art working environment with the charm of its historic estate.
We are looking for a dedicated Cleaning Operative who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness. As part of our professional facilities team, you will play a key role in ensuring the workplace remains a welcoming and safe environment.
The Role
* Maintain laundry operations, ensuring cloths and mops are prepared for each shift
* Collect, transport, and dispose of waste safely and efficiently
* Operate waste collection vehicles responsibly, in line with traffic regulations
* Replenish consumables and stock across the campus buildings
* Assist with laundry and general cleaning duties
* Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols
* Support special cleaning projects when required
About You
* Have experience with manual handling and be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
* Ideally have previous cleaning experience in a corporate setting (preferred, not essential)
* Be positive, adaptable, and able to manage tasks that may change at short notice
* Be reliable, punctual, and take genuine pride in their work
* Hold a full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months) and have access to transport to site
