You must hold a Security Guarding or Door Supervisor SIA License to work within our business and with the security supervisor role, CCTV Public Space Surveillance is also desirable. Key Information: Job Title – Duty Security Manager Location – Fitzrovia, London Rate - £18.95 per hour. Shifts – 4 on, 4 off. Days and nights and weekends. Be the site lead with all procedures Ensure Assignment Instructions are always adhered to. Ensure that all Unitrust personnel follow the correct dress code. Develop relationships onsite with tenants, suppliers & contractors To comply with company health and safety procedures. Duties Investigations of incidents. To record and report all incidents & accidents To keep security records and logs up to date. Post/mail duties with accurate record keeping Admin duties to include assistance with compliance documentation To act as incident controller To monitor and train staff To deal with staff and visitors enquiries and requests. Initialise call out procedures in the event of a critical incident. To comply with applicable environmental, health and safety policies, Unitrust Staff appraisals, welfare meetings & probations Unitrust Staff performance management where required Administration of onsite patrol system. Team mentoring, training & development Early identification and mitigation of any threats Have an outstanding knowledge of the premises Record details of any suspected criminal activity on the premises Booking in and management of deliveries on site To undertake any reasonable instruction received from the client or Unitrust management Responsibilities: Deliver outstanding customer service to staff and visitors. Take an active interest in, and give commitment to the client Ensure that the environment and service is truly excellent and beyond expectation Be flexible and adaptable to all tasks or challenges Be highly presentable, accountable; take responsibility and ownership for any tasks identified or allocated Ensure all contact, internal or external; courteous, polite, professional, and respectful Ensure complete client/tenant/other service provider confidentiality Appropriate use of CCTV/access control and any other electronic management system Be familiar with all Security and Emergency procedures on site All Assignment Instructions and Risk Assessments are to be reviewed and maintained Embrace and deliver the bespoke training requirements Completion of rostered duties and all associated tasks Essential Skills: A 5-year checkable work history in the security industry and/or within the hospitality sectors. Interpersonal skills and confidence are a must Exceptional customer service skills Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual Resilient and calm under pressure with the ability to multi-task Self-confidence and an interest in self-development.
