ROLE: Vehicle Technician LOCATION: Brighton SALARY: 42.5k basic, plus 5k bonus overtime benefits HOURS: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week Flame Recruitment is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join our clients main dealership in Eastbourne. As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll safely prepare our customers’ cars for the road ahead. You’ll care about every detail and take pride in doing a meticulous job. You’ll get the chance to work on an incredible range of models, developing your skills and staying up to date with the very latest in vehicle technology. DUTIES: Perform maintenance, repairs and / or diagnostics on a full range of passenger cars. Maximising efficiency, while always maintaining company and industry standards and benchmarks. Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, maintenance and repairs are completed in line with the manufacturers repair methods. Utilise Company and VAG systems to record and monitor detailed explanations of all work carried out. Providing your colleagues and our customers with highly detailed explanations of work required, or work carried out. Through face to face and video communications. Expand your knowledge through the completion of training modules, as required to ensure your knowledge and understanding of the product is maintained to the required level. To show respect to your colleagues and maintain your work area to company standards, ensure an excellent and safe work environment. YOU: You will be a fully trained and experienced Service or Diagnostic Technician. Certified to NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent to a Level 3 manufacturers qualification. Electric Vehicle maintenance and repair qualifications are an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided.
