Northgate Healthcare Ltd – Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Just outside Bridgnorth
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 2:00pm (25 hours per week)
Northgate Healthcare Ltd is a family-run business within the care industry. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our small, supportive office team. This is a part-time role where you will work closely with the Accounts Manager to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day financial processes, helping the Operations Manager and Director make well-informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle telephone calls in a professional manner
* Chase outstanding customer arrears for designated care homes
* Accurately input supplier invoices into Sage 50 Accounts
* Assist with payroll processing using Sage 50 Payroll
* Produce customer statements and complete monthly reconciliations
* Enter daily bank transactions and maintain accurate records
* Monitor and manage the accounts inbox
* Complete monthly petty cash reconciliations
* Support budgeting and forecasting through data preparation and analysis
* Provide general administrative support to the Accounts Manager
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in accounts/finance administration (Sage 50 experience desirable)
* Organised, accurate, and able to manage multiple tasks
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* A good communicator with a professional and approachable manner
* Able to work independently as well as part of a small, close-knit team
