Job Title: Commercial Support Manager
Location: Office based, Kingswinford
Contract type & hours: Full time (Monday – Friday)

Our focus on technical services, new product development, and quality standards drives our success. We are seeking a Commercial Support Manager to join our team.
Duties will include:
1. Pricing Implementation: Support the execution of the company's pricing strategy, including for new products and contracts, ensuring alignment of internal tools, communication, and documentation with centrally set prices.
2. Contract Support: Oversee customer contract preparation, negotiation, and administration, ensuring compliance with policies and requirements.
3. Rebate Management: Track, calculate, and process customer rebates accurately and timely, collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
4. Distributor Margin Strategy: Assist in implementing margin strategies aligned with company objectives.
5. Pricing for New Items: Collaborate on setting prices for new products to meet corporate goals and competitiveness.
6. Customer Price Files: Maintain and update pricing files according to approved terms.
7. Price Calculators: Develop and manage tools to streamline pricing processes.
8. Forecasting & Budgeting: Support monthly sales forecasts and annual budgets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
9. Variance Monitoring: Monitor and report on forecast and budget discrepancies.
10. Quotations Management: Prepare and deliver installer quotations promptly and accurately.
CRM Support:
1. Lead Management: Support CRM-generated lead pursuit to maximize conversions.
2. Customer Business Planning: Assist in preparing strategic plans with insights.
3. Customer & RTSM Calls: Handle inquiries efficiently, maintaining high satisfaction.
4. Customer Reports: Generate reports on performance, pricing, and sales metrics.
5. Conflict Management: Manage distribution channel conflicts proactively.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
1. Competitor Analysis: Report on market activities and trends, with detailed analysis by the Commercial Analyst.
2. Market Positioning: Assess and identify growth opportunities.
3. Price File Updates: Keep competitor pricing information current for strategic decisions.
Operational & Product Management:
1. Stock Profiles: Coordinate with the Distribution Manager on inventory alignment.
2. New Product Uploads: Manage product launches for key accounts.
3. Multi Updates: Assist with product group and partner updates.
4. Terms Changes: Coordinate updates to sale and distribution terms.
Logistics & Finance Support:
1. Returns & Credits: Support returns process to ensure satisfaction and policy adherence.
2. Terms Change Coordination: Facilitate changes in commercial terms with relevant teams.
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
* Proven experience in commercial operations, sales support, or pricing in manufacturing or distribution.
* Strong analytical skills; proficiency in MS Excel, pricing tools, and ERP systems.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
