An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic individuals to join our inpatient team at Franklyn Hospital, Exeter, as a Healthcare Assistant. Rougemont Ward is a 16-bedded inpatient assessment unit for Older People with functional illnesses.
About the Role
We are looking to appoint a motivated individual who is passionate about caring for older people with functional illnesses. Rougemont Ward provides high-quality care and treatment for people with complex health needs and functional illnesses. We conduct multidisciplinary assessments to inform current and future care needs.

Main Duties
* Assist multidisciplinary team members in delivering holistic care addressing social, physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual needs.
* Undertake practical procedures under supervision of trained nursing staff.
Qualifications and Skills
Previous care experience is desirable but not essential. We value diverse backgrounds and believe that individuals from different employment histories can bring new ideas and knowledge. We are willing to support candidates in achieving the Care Certificate if they do not already possess it. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
