The Role
Our dynamic and highly skilled finance team is looking for a FP&A Analyst to join the team to be based in Birmingham. As an FP&A Analyst you will be responsible for supporting finance projects, preparing reports, assisting with due diligence, and handling various financial tasks.

Our dynamic and highly skilled finance team is looking for a FP&A Analyst to join the team to be based in Birmingham. As an FP&A Analyst you will be responsible for supporting finance projects, preparing reports, assisting with due diligence, and handling various financial tasks.
Key Skills & Experience
* Support the Senior FP&A Manager and Finance Director with large finance projects including annual budgeting process and ad-hoc projects
* Preparing monthly KPI reporting for business unit and platform heads, and supporting the preparation of board reports
* Support the Acquisitions team on financial due diligence and investment appraisals as and when required
* Perform monthly validations between data sources and make adjustments as needed; investigate variances and follow up as appropriate
* Running reports at month end to meet housebuilder, banking and other client reporting requirements
* Assistance with resolving ad-hoc financial and non-financial reporting queries for various stakeholders and presenting in a prescribed format that is easily understood by non-accountants.
* Assistance with preparing information for, and completing ONS and other surveys

The Team
Our highly skilled and diverse finance team is dedicated to delivering exceptional accounting services to our exciting and dynamic Professional Services Group. We offer a comprehensive range of services that cater to both legal and non-legal businesses within the Group. Our finance team is meticulously organised into several specialised functions, including Group Accounting, Legal Cashiering, Billing, Credit Management, and Purchasing. This role will sit within our Group Accounting function and will report directly into our Senior FP&A Manager.

The Person
* Ideally a first-time mover in to industry with ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification recently obtained
* Experience of M&A (Transaction Services or Corporate Finance) preferable
* Qualified in a top 20 accountancy practice
* Strong financial analytical and Excel skills including financial modelling
* Diligent individual, strong attention to detail/data integrity
* Self-motivated, proactive with a can-do attitude towards work
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
* Strong task management skills including an ability to prioritise tasks and regularly manage multiple deliverables independently
