Job Title: Corporate Receptionist
Salary: £26,.68
Contract: Permanent
Type of Employment: Full Time
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week (9.30 am to 17.30)
Location: GSK - Ware

Mitie is looking for a professional and polished Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. You will be the first point of contact for all guests and colleagues, delivering a 5-star service and ensuring a warm, efficient, and secure welcome to the site.

Key Responsibilities

1. Meet and greet visitors, ensuring smooth and timely check-in.
2. Communicate with internal teams via email/phone and support their requests.
3. Maintain accurate guest records and building knowledge.
4. Provide proactive visual checks of communal areas and report issues via the FM Helpdesk.
5. Support colleagues across the FM team and promote best practice.
6. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and security procedures at all times.

About You

7. Well-presented, professional, and customer-focused.
8. Confident communicator with strong attention to detail.
9. Flexible, reliable, and proactive in your approach.
10. Knowledge of local transport and amenities is an advantage.

The hours will be 40 hours a week -but will need to be flexible to accomodate holiday and sick leave within your team. (9.30 am to 17.30)

Essential Requirements

11. Professional appearance and well‑groomed at all times (front-of-house standard).
12. Excellent customer service skills with a warm, welcoming manner.
13. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for speaking with visitors, staff, and internal teams.
14. Ability to multitask and manage a busy reception area efficiently.
15. Attention to detail when checking visitors in and maintaining accurate records.
16. Reliable, punctual, and flexible to support business needs.
17. Comfortable using email, phone systems, and visitor management software.
18. Understanding of basic Health & Safety and site security protocols.
19. Ability to work well within the wider FM team and support colleagues proactively.
