Job Description

Work as part of a team to provide physical and social support to our residents and service users so that they can achieve an appropriate level of independence, wellbeing.

Ensure their personal and emotional care requirements are met in line with the personal choices they express.

Ensure that all personal hygiene needs are met by helping them to wash, dress/undress and use the toilet, ensuring all their nutritional choices are also met.

Enable service users to reach their full potential, by promoting their independence and physical, social and spiritual welfare.

The team at the Coach House know how to inspire and encourage the clients. They have exceptional skills when nurturing our residents or day centre clients to grow and develop at every opportunity. Adults aged over 18 with physical disabilities can come along and enjoy our day care opportunities and sensory enrichment programme.

The RISE Centre, our facility specially designed for adults with physical disabilities enables individuals to achieve their own goals and aspirations whilst experiencing and learning new skills, and a variety of therapies and activities. What we’re looking for

• An interest in working in adult care services
• Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent, or be willing to attain it
• The ability to clearly and appropriately communicate orally and in written form
• The ability to work as part of a team and with other colleagues in a collaborative and engaging way
• The ability to be directed, in particular by people who use our services

Desirable criteria

• Experience in caring, not necessarily gained through work
• Full clean driving licence
• Basic education in English and maths

We are looking for a caring, reliable and motivated Care & Support Worker to support residents overnight, helping to ensure their safety, comfort and wellbeing throughout the night shift.

Hours

24 or 36 hours per week

Shift pattern

Waking nights, 21:00–09:00

Pay

£12.87 per hour
