As a P6 Planner, your role will be instrumental in supporting the planning team in the development and execution of gas replacement schemes. The programmes you work on will span different stages of the project lifecycle, from Preconstruction through to Handover.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the PMO team with developing and updating accurate programmes and schedules in accordance with business and contractual requirements, ensuring clarity and high quality.
2. Attending site when required to support project delivery and planning teams.
3. Submitting programmes within contractual and business deadlines, accompanied by programme reports.
4. Producing tender programmes to optimize the sequence of works according to design, specifications, and scope.
5. Undertaking change event programmes, tracking variations, analyzing critical and non-critical paths, and reporting to the delivery team.
6. Managing subcontract programmes per contractual requirements and providing feedback to improve delivery.
7. Supporting the development of junior team members.
8. Creating and updating dashboards and trackers to monitor project performance.
9. Communicating daily with design, consents, commercial, estimating, project teams, clients, and supply chain to support project delivery.
10. Hosting and attending planning meetings to keep all stakeholders updated.
11. Producing summary programmes, reports, and charts to illustrate programme logic at all levels.
12. Resource and cost loading programmes to support reporting on dashboards, earned value management, and project performance.
Construction experience is beneficial but not essential.

* A detailed and forward-thinking approach to problem-solving.
* Excellent organizational skills and a commitment to completing tasks 'right first time' in accordance with project protocols.
* Experience in developing schemes from pre-construction through to handover, with good knowledge of NEC contracts.
* Extensive experience using Primavera P6 at an advanced level, including cost and resource loading, and familiarity with MS Project.
* Understanding of NRWSA regulations is advantageous.
* The ability to travel between sites, holding a full UK driving license.
