The Role
We’re seeking talented graduates to join our Structural Engineering team in Newark and Milton Keynes. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to the design and delivery of infrastructure projects that respond to the challenges of urban growth, sustainability, and resilience.
Your Impact
* Support the technical delivery of projects from concept design to construction.
* Collaborate across disciplines, attend client meetings and site visits, and produce technical drawings and calculations.
* Build the skills, confidence and experience needed to progress toward chartership and beyond through mentorship and a structured development programme.

Programme Highlights
* Central induction and ongoing support from your line manager and mentor.
* In‑depth technical training in your core discipline plus exposure to 15 technical and 8 interpersonal topics.
* Quarterly development reviews to track progress.
* Opportunities to shadow senior colleagues and contribute to diverse projects.
Your Pathway
You will be assigned a location, cost centre, line manager and a ‘home’ technical discipline. Should you wish to explore a different discipline at the end of the programme, we will consider this based on interests and business needs.
CMI Partnership
As part of the scheme, you will have access to the CMI Foundation Chartered Manager pathway through flexible, online Bite‑Size programs covering topics such as Managing Change, Leading in a Digital Age, Conflict Resolution, Project Management and Data‑Driven Decision Making.
Application and Selection Process
To apply, submit an up‑to‑date CV detailing your academic background, relevant experience and motivation for joining the programme. All applications will be acknowledged upon receipt.
Following initial screening, shortlisted candidates will complete an online assessment evaluating key competencies and problem‑solving skills. Successful candidates will be invited to a final assessment, either an in‑person interview or an assessment center, depending on location and discipline.
