Join our friendly team as Office / Operations Manager!


Location: Oval, London (Hybrid)
Contract Type: Permanent, Monday - Friday
Salary: £40, - £48, per annum


Are you ready to take the reins as an Office / Operations Manager in a dynamic consulting environment? Our client, a leading socio-economic consultancy, is searching for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join their collaborative team. With an office conveniently located just 4 minutes from Oval train station, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact!


About the Role:


As the Office / Operations Manager, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly while providing top-notch support to senior leadership. Your responsibilities will include:



1. First Point of Contact: Act as the gatekeeper for senior partners, managing phone calls, visitors, and correspondence with professionalism and discretion.

2. Executive Support: Coordinate diaries, manage inboxes, prepare presentations and proposals, and maintain the contact database.

3. Travel Coordination: Arrange domestic and international travel itineraries, including flights and accommodations.

4. Office Operations: Oversee suppliers, facilities, IT coordination, and supplies to ensure day-to-day functionality of the office.

5. HR Support: Administer onboarding logistics and assist with compliance requirements, while liaising with the HR team.

6. Compliance & Organisation: Maintain records and coordinate health & safety protocols.

7. Event Planning: Organise company socials, team-building activities, and client events.

8. Business Support: Assist with tender submissions and internal processes, ensuring smooth operations.

9. Efficiency Contributor: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and adopt automation.

10. Confidentiality Management: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.

18. Proven experience in a similar role.

19. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

20. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

21. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

22. Ability to handle confidential information sensitively.

23. A proactive approach and strong prioritisation skills.
