School Administrator / Examinations Officer Location: Christchurch Start Date: ASAP Full-time, Term Time 3 weeks Grade 9 SCP 19–25 (£30,464 – £34,551 actual salary, with increments for 5 years’ service) The Role Vision for Education are looking to appoint a dedicated and detail-driven Examinations Officer / School Administrator to join a supportive secondary school. This is a vital role in ensuring the effective administration, organisation, and delivery of all internal and external exams, including GCSE, A-Level, and vocational qualifications. You will manage exam entries, timetables, and room allocations, ensuring everything runs in line with JCQ and exam board regulations. The role also involves coordinating with teaching staff, SEND teams, and invigilators, as well as supporting results days and post-exam processes. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where accuracy, organisation, and strong communication skills are essential. Responsibilities Organise and manage all internal and external examinations. Coordinate exam entries, timetables, and access arrangements. Lead and line manage a team of invigilators. Ensure compliance with JCQ and exam board regulations. Oversee results days, certificates, and post-exam queries. Maintain accurate and confidential exam data. Liaise with staff, students, parents, and external exam bodies. Requirements The successful candidate will have: Strong administrative and organisational skills. High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure. Excellent communication and problem-solving ability. IT proficiency, with experience in data systems (SIMS or similar desirable).
