About Us: Central Bean is a hub for locals, visitors, and coffee lovers alike. We serve up our own blend of ethically sourced coffee, homemade local bakes and delicious sandwiches 7 days a week. As a key part of the town centre, located in the Sanderson Arcade, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, relaxed space with exceptional, friendly service and quality food and drinks at the heart of everything we do.
About the Role: As Senior Manager, youll oversee the smooth running of the shop, lead, develop and recruit for the team, maintain high service standards, innovate new seasonal products and specials and ensure every cup served reflects the craft we're known for.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, train, and inspire the team by monitoring performance and driving continuous improvements in quality and efficiency to develop the business and increase footfall
Manage rotas, stock, gross profit and margins, suppliers and ordering, and day to day operations
Ensure exceptional customer service and a warm, inclusive atmospherewith the ability to balance priorities in a busy café setting
Maintain shop cleanliness, hygiene standards and processes
What Were Looking For: Experience in hospitality or retail management is essential, and experience in an independent café or ready to eat food led environment is a bonus
Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, can-do attitude
A passion for great coffee and great people with a genuine connection to community values and small business culture
Organised, reliable, and proactive with excellent communication skills
A strong understanding of food hygiene systems, with Food Hygiene level 2 certification desirable

Please note this is an hourly position, however a salary is something that can be discussed during final round interviews for the right candidate.
