Are you looking for a new opportunity to work as a Coordinator Operations - Marine? In this role, you will be based in London, UK. You will be is responsible for managing the vessel vetting and clearance program under the direction of the Marine Manager. In this role, you will support marine-related audits and assurance programs while providing technical expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations for crude oil, product, chemical, and equipment shipments.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Tanker Vessel Operator - Minimum 5 years of experience in the marine and shipping industry of tanker (Crude, CPP, DPP & Chemical tankers) operations (spot, COA and time charter) including post fixture operations
2. Preference will be given to sailing experience and/or training in shipping
3. Working knowledge of INCO terms and custody transfer
4. Basic knowledge of Ship Inspection Report/Chemical Distribution Institute/Offshore Vessel Inspection Database
5. University and/or post-graduate degree
Responsibilities:
6. Marine commercial operations ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operations of shipments of crude oil, products, chemicals and equipment
7. Coordinate the safe and economical marine transportation for both domestic and international trades
8. Liaise with marine terminals (both owned and others), refineries, schedulers, regional supply offices, ship owners, agents, surveyors and expeditors on all matters related to marine movements
9. Administer affreightment contracts and time charters for the Manager Marine
10. Keep up with all operational matters with clients and suppliers and provide updates to the Manager Marine
11. Prepare a weekly schedule for all movements under your responsibility
12. Support vessel vetting and clearance program
13. Input cost and cargo data relevant to movements into the marine system
14. Build and maintain individual voyage files for each movement
15. Monitor inspection services are available for each voyage
16. Verify relevant invoices for movements & approve as necessary
17. Ensure company, regulatory and industry compliance
Location and other Key Details:
18. You will work out of our London, UK Trading Office, located at 10 Brook Street W1
19. Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs and on-call expectation
20. Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
