Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our outstanding General Radiography team at Withybush General Hospital. The ideal candidate will be a skilled practitioner who is adaptable, well-organised and capable of demonstrating strong leadership qualities.
The Radiology department here at WGH has benefited from substantial Welsh government investment over the last three years. Much of the equipment is brand new with further planned upgrades. We have a range of modalities including two CT scanners, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, General and A&E X-ray rooms, and Fluoroscopy. The team offers great role extension opportunities, reporting on studies including CT and Nuclear Medicine, with options for postgraduate study.
Main duties of the job
* Work within the General X-ray area, including X-ray imaging of scheduled outpatients, walk-in GP patients, minor injury, A&E, and inpatients.
* Rotation through theatres, mobiles, fluoroscopy, and CT, with potential work within community sites including Tenby Cottage Hospital.
* Participation in the out-of-hours on-call system is mandatory.
* Proficiency in Welsh is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are welcome to apply.
